What type of collagen is in magic milk?

magic milk uses hydrolyzed bovine collagen peptides, types I and III, the forms most associated with skin, hair, nails and joints.

Hydrolyzed means the collagen has been broken into smaller peptides, which is the form most collagen supplements use because it mixes easily into liquid.

Is magic milk grass-fed?

Yes. The colostrum comes from grass-fed, pasture-raised cows on regenerative New Zealand dairy farms, raised without antibiotics.

Where does your colostrum come from?

Regenerative dairy farms in New Zealand where cows graze on pasture year-round. It is processed at low temperatures to protect the naturally occurring nutrients.

Does collecting colostrum hurt the calf?

No. Under our Calf-First Promise, calves always feed first and only the surplus colostrum is collected.

Is magic milk third-party tested?

Yes. EuroFins independently tests magic milk for heavy metals, microbiology and 22 banned sports-nutrition substances (none detected), with the latest panel (Lot 260304, March 2026) published at magicmilk.com/lab-results.

Heavy metals per 11.5g serving on that panel: lead 0.223mcg, arsenic 0.299mcg, cadmium 3.16mcg, mercury under 0.058mcg and chromium 7.54mcg. Salmonella, Staphylococcus aureus and E. coli were not detected per 10g. The banned-substance screen used LC-MS/MS and covered SARMs, anabolic steroids and prohormones.

What sweetener is in magic milk? Any artificial sweeteners?

magic milk is sweetened with 3g of organic cane sugar and a touch of stevia leaf extract. There is no sucralose, aspartame, erythritol or any artificial sweetener.

How much IgG is in magic milk?

We have not had IgG or lactoferrin potency assayed yet, so we do not quote a percentage. Our published EuroFins panels cover purity: heavy metals, microbiology and banned substances.

Be careful comparing IgG percentages across brands: a percentage only means something alongside the grams of colostrum per serving and a published test behind it.

Is magic milk organic?

The cane sugar, cocoa and coconut milk in magic milk are organic. The colostrum is grass-fed and pasture-raised; the finished product is not certified organic.

Does magic milk contain hormones or antibiotics?

The colostrum comes from cows raised without antibiotics and magic milk has no added hormones. Colostrum naturally contains growth factors like IGF-1 in small amounts, as all colostrum does.

Will magic milk make me fail a drug test?

EuroFins screened magic milk for 22 banned sports-nutrition substances, including SARMs, anabolic steroids and prohormones, and none were detected on either lot tested. Results are at magicmilk.com/lab-results.
